Dr Claire Furness

Claire Furness is a UK-trained Specialist Orthodontist with over 19 years of clinical experience in dentistry and orthodontics. She completed her dental degree at the University of Bristol in 2006, followed by two years of postgraduate experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery within the UK, which laid a strong foundation for managing complex dentofacial cases.

Claire went on to specialise in Orthodontics, undertaking her specialist training at both Guy’s Hospital in London and the University of Bristol. She later held a Consultant Orthodontist position in Dorchester, where she managed multidisciplinary cases involving orthognathic surgery, cleft care, and complex malocclusions.

In 2019, Claire relocated to Australia with her husband and family and has since been a valued member of the team at The Look Orthodontists, where she has worked for the past five years. Claire brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to patient care and is passionate about achieving both functional and aesthetic outcomes for her patients.
