EMERGENCY ORTHODONTIC APPOINTMENTS ONLY
At The Look Orthodontics, we are taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously.
We have decided to restrict our practice to orthodontic emergencies only.
Ultimately, the safety of our patients and staff is most important.
Please contact us on 9375 1600 if you are unsure and our staff will triage and advise the best course of action.
In most cases a a slight pause in your treatment for a couple of months will not increase the overall time or have negative consequences.
At this time our practice will remain open only to meet the not causing emergency needs of our orthodontic patients. If it NOT an emergency, we would advise you to stay home and stay safe. An Orthodontic Emergency is anything that is causing PAIN. If it is not causing pain, it is NOT an emergency.
If it is an absolute must that you attend, we are taking the following actions to minimize the risk associated with the virus:
If the answer to any of these questions is “yes,” you will NOT be able to be seen and will need to reschedule your appointment.
Have you been out of the country in the last 14 days?
Have you been in contact with someone who has been confirmed to have COVID-19?
Do you have a cough, fever or any respiratory symptoms?
We ask that patients try to come to their appointment alone or with only one parent or guardian to try to limit the people in our reception area.
If you are having any orthodontic concerns, we will be happy to address them by email or over the phone.
We will be removing books and magazines from the waiting room.
We have made hand sanitizer available throughout the practice and encourage you to use them before and after your appointment.
Tooth brushing facilities at our oral hygiene stations will not be available till further notice.
You will be required to sign a declaration before entering our practice.
We appreciate your understanding during this very challenging time and are grateful to our patients for helping us take precautions. These precautions will help ensure that The Look Ortho remains a safe environment for all of us – patients, family, and team.
Please know that we will continue to monitor developments and will communicate with you as necessary. Our facebook page is great for updates.
Thank you for your help and understanding.
